I’m a qualified dollmaking teacher and hold regular workshops in my studio near Feilding. Classes are relaxed and social, and give you a chance to learn about the process as well as develop your own skills.
What’s included in workshops?
We’ll cover:
- pouring porcelain doll’s face, body and limb molds
- firing in the kiln
- painting faces
- assembling doll bodies
- wigs and doll hairdressing
- making clothing and shoes
- knitting, cross stitch and other needle techniques.
As well as general workshops, I run masterclasses on particular topics of interest.
